Parlez App: Quick Start Guide

Open Parlez
Go to the Parlez App in your web browser. It works seamlessly on mobile, tablet, or desktop.
Sign In
Log in quickly and securely using your Google account.
Choose an Exercise
Select any exercise card from the main dashboard to begin.
Start Speaking
Allow microphone access when prompted, and start speaking aloud in French to receive real-time pronunciation feedback.
Save & Exit
When you are done practicing, simply close your session.

Open the Parlez App in your browser on any device (smartphone, laptop, etc.).
Log in with your Google account by clicking “Continue with Google” and following the on-screen prompts.
Once logged in, select a card from the main screen.
The app will connect to the AI assistant. Once the assistant greets you, answer the question. Please check the Guide of Cards for how to respond easily.
If the transcript of your first response fails to appear, it may be because the local microphone connection is stale. Please close the session and start a new one to refresh it.
You may now start speaking aloud in French. The app will guide you through the exercises and provide feedback and encouragement along the way.
When you’re finished practicing, click the red X to close your session. Don’t leave it open as it may result in extra charges and a stalled microphone connection.

Allow microphone access in your browser settings on all devices.
When using a browser on Android, make sure you have only one instance of the app open.
Background noise can affect speech recognition, so try to practice in a quiet place.
Speak in full sentences rather than single words, as this helps the AI understand you better.
Seeing strange transcripts? Try speaking more slowly and clearly. If the issue persists, restart the session.
Is the AI tutor unresponsive? If it takes too long to respond, say “Bonjour” to get it back on track, or start a new session.
