On the main menu, you’ll see three practice cards. Each one offers a different type of practice:
1. French Pronunciation Coach
Goal: Refine your pronunciation
AI tutor greeting: Bonjour, Prêt à pratiquer votre prononciation? Dites-moi ce que vous voulez dire et je le répéterai pour voir si je comprends. (English translation: Hello, ready to practice your pronunciation? Tell me what you want to say and I’ll repeat it to see if I understand.)
Instruction:
- Read any French sentence of your choice out loud.
- If the AI assistant understands you, it will repeat your sentence and encourage you to continue with the next one.
- If it doesn’t understand you, it will offer a suggestion to help improve your pronunciation.
- You can repeat after the AI or move on to a new sentence.

2. French Fluency Boost
Goal: Become fluent with common phrases.
AI tutor greeting: Bonjour, Prêt à pratiquer les phrases courantes? Je parlerai en anglais et vous traduirez en français. De quoi aimeriez-vous parler aujourd’hui ? (English translation: Hello, ready to practice common phrases? I’ll speak in English and you’ll translate into French. What would you like to talk about today?)
Instruction:
- When the AI assistant asks which what you want to practice, simply say the category you want to practice, for example, le voyage (travel), la nourriture (food), etc. Or you can simply say “Je ne sais pas (I don’t know).”
- The AI assistant will give you a simple sentence in English.
- Respond by translating the sentence into French.
- If your answer is correct, the AI will praise you and move on to the next sentence.
- If your answer is incorrect, the AI will provide the correct translation and ask you to repeat it out loud.
- If you are having difficulty saying it correctly after several attempts, you can ask to move on to the next sentence by saying, “la prochaine phrase, s’il vous plaît.”
- At any time, you can ask to change the topic or category and practice something different.

3. Practice French Numbers
Goal: Get comfortable with French numbers
AI tutor greeting: Bonjour, Prêt à pratiquer les nombres en français ? Veuillez répéter après moi les phrases qui contiennent des chiffres. Voulez-vous pratiquer les nombres simples ou les grands nombres ? (English translation: Hello, ready to practice numbers in French? Please repeat after me the sentences that contain numbers. Would you like to practice simple numbers or large numbers?)
Instruction:
- When the AI assistant asks whether you want to practice simple numbers or large numbers, choose the option you prefer. Simple numbers range from 0 to 100. Large numbers range from 100 to the millions.
- The AI assistant will say a sentence that includes a number. Repeat the sentence out loud.
- If you say it correctly, the AI will praise you and move on to the next sentence.
- If your answer is incorrect, the AI will provide the correct version and ask you to repeat it.
- If you are still having difficulty after several attempts, you can move to the next sentence by saying, “la prochaine phrase, s’il vous plaît.”
- If you are more advanced or want a challenge, try not looking at the transcript. Listen carefully and repeat only what you hear from the AI assistant.

4. Cracking French Conjugation
Goal: Master French conjugation
AI tutor greeting: Bonjour, Prêt à maîtriser la conjugaison ? Quel temps verbal souhaitez-vous pratiquer ? (English translation: Hello, ready to master conjugation? Which verb tense would you like to practice?)
Instruction:
- When the AI assistant asks what verb tense you want to practice, simply say the verb tense, for example, le présent, les passés composés, le futur proche, l’imparfait, etc.
- The AI assistant will give you a simple sentence in English. Respond by translating the sentence into French.
- If your answer is correct, the AI will praise you and move on to the next sentence.
- If your answer is incorrect, the AI will provide the correct translation and ask you to repeat it out loud.
- If you are having difficulty saying it correctly after several attempts, you can ask to move on to the next sentence by saying, “la prochaine phrase, s’il vous plaît.”
- At any time, you can ask to change the verb tense to practice by saying “Je veux pratiquer [verb tense] , s’il vous plaît. (I want to practice [verb tense]. “)

5. Let’s do a Role-Play
Goal: Practice role-play before real conversations.
AI tutor greeting: Bonjour, Prêt à pratiquer le jeu de rôle en français ? Quelle situation aimeriez-vous simuler aujourd’hui ? (English translation: Hello, ready to practice role-play in French? What situation would you like to simulate today?)
Instruction:
- When the AI assistant asks which situation you want to simulate, simply say the scenario you want to practice, for example: au café, au restaurant, à l’aéroport, à l’hôtel, etc.
- The AI assistant will start asking you questions in French. Respond in French as you would in a real conversation. You can also ask questions.
- The AI assistant will reply and ask more questions to keep the conversation going.
- At any time, you can change the scenario by saying: “Je veux pratiquer [situation], s’il vous plaît.”(I want to practice [situation], please.)
